Q.01 How much does a LiDAR scan cost?
We quote per project. A typical floor (200–400 m²) including an ArchiCAD or IFC model starts in the low four figures (EUR). Fixed quote within 24 h.
Q.02 Do you deliver native ArchiCAD (.pln)?
Yes. We model directly in ArchiCAD and deliver .pln in your layer and favourites structure. No re-import overhead.
Q.03 Is it BIM- and IFC-compliant?
Yes. We deliver OpenBIM as IFC 2x3 or IFC 4 with IfcClassification, Pset_ structures and BCF-ready workflow.
Q.04 Where does smog.cc operate?
HQ in Berlin. We scan regularly across DACH, BeNeLux, Poland, France and Scandinavia. Modelling is remote.
Q.05 How fast do I get the data?
Point cloud usually within 48 h after scan. Models in 5–15 working days depending on scope and LOD.
Q.06 What is Gaussian Splatting?
A photorealistic 3D representation from images. Ideal for web presentations, as-built documentation and heritage. We deliver .splat/.ply for web viewers.
